repurposed bread box

I was inspired by Tracy at Tracy’s Trinkets and Treasure to make over this old bread box. Well, that was many months ago and it just sat, and sat.

I came up with my version of the medicine box, but with a twist.

My kids were always asking where the cords are to charge their phones, so I decided to put all of the chargers in one spot.

The top holds the medicine that we use most often (which isn’t much)

I was able to solve two issues in one fell swoop Smile

  1. it's super cute, mel! and of course i love the added aqua! of course! ;)

  2. Sweet!!!! What an awesome idea! my kids are always losing their phone chargers! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Wow, what a great idea! Looks like waiting and waiting panned out! haha

  4. Great idea for a medicine box. I keep my daily prescription on the lazy Susan spice rack in the cupboard near my kitchen sink. One of these pre-coffee groggy mornings I'm going to swallow a peppercorn by mistake.

  5. LOVE the charging station! Who needs to spend $40 on a Target buy when you can wrangle something with so much interesting character that is so completely YOU?!

  6. That's awesome! I acquired one of these last year and just painted it white a couple weeks ago. The top lifts on mine, so I have a plant in it. It's not what I envisioned, so I am sure it will find another purpose before long. I hope you are having a nice weekend!

  7. Oh Mel, this is too cute and clever!! I like anything that hides a little clutter or cords but this is decorative too!!

  8. I love the re-purposed bread box...great idea! I am your newest follower on linky..I would love for you to visit and follow back.

    Happy bogging

  9. Mel! I am catching up...lol I like this alot! I broke down and bought a "charger mess container", $10 at a thrift store :) Yours is super awesome Mel!
